How to add new Environment Variables in Windows 10

  1. Type Win+R, followed by sysdm.cpl as shown below:
  2. You will see the following System Properties:
  3. Click the Advanced tab:
  4. Then click the Environment Variables button
  5. .

  6. You should now see the following screen:
  7. Click the New button under System variables
  8. Type in the Variable name and the Variable value, then click the OK button.
  9. Double-check that your new system environment variables has been added:
